Now and Then

We have had the best week this week with our 2 oldest grand kids, Josh and Jaycee.
They got to stay with us while they attended EFY in West Jordan.
They grow up way too fast!
They are the best!!

Now...

and then.

Sunday Mornings

A couple of weeks ago as Craig and I were going to church,
my thoughts turned to my kids and a feeling of warmth
and joy entered my heart. Just to know that in Glenville, NY,
Morgan, UT, Ammon, ID, West Valley City, UT,
and Murray, UT we
are a "forever family" and we are still
doing Sunday mornings together...though miles apart.
I still hear the strains of Janice Kapp Perry's
"The Light Within", "In Quiet Grove", and
"How Great Shall Be Your Joy"
filling our home.
The taste of mini powdered sugar donuts and
milk still bring back memories of
Mike's quiet influence, Jenni's sprinkle of
freckles across her nose, Kristy's giggle
that reached clear down to her toes and Emily's ever
endearing phrase, "BUT WAIT!"
I love them all so much and I am so thankful
for the wonderful people they are.

And of course.....Craig.....I am so glad
we are having this dance for the rest
of our lives and forever!

Pelican Brief

Beginning in March-April we get a "brief" visit
from these pelicans.
We've counted up to eleven of them.
They usually stay through June.
They are amazing to watch.
They have really BIG beaks.
Today, Craig and I went on our first official
bike-ride on the Jordan River Parkway.
We caught these two enjoying a
lazy morning on the river.
Thank you, Craig for getting our bikes
ready for the summer.
Looking forward to more bike excursions.

Seriously....Am I doing this?

OK....I'm doing this.....I'm going to start a blog. (Leaving my little comfort zone.) After a few...OK A LOT of frustrating moments and a very patient Craig....really...VERY patient....and his continuing help... here I go.

Orem High is moving into the brand new building. The library was chosen as one of the first to move in. Two boys are working on getting their Eagle Scout and have chosen to help the library move as their project. Great project, awesome boys and amazing help! Here are a few pictures of before and after of the very old, but very endearing library. I love my job!
